The flesh and spirit

# ✝️ Salvation, Holiness, and the Law – Bible Understanding

# ✝️ Understanding Salvation and Holiness

**First, understand salvation**

– Salvation and holiness are more than 613 laws.
– No flesh can be holy.
– Only your spirit that is born again is holy.
– You need the Holy Spirit to direct you to be holy.
– God never promised that your flesh won’t sin.
– The flesh and the heart think evil, and only by God can it be controlled.
– God hears your prayers through Christ.

**Old Testament Truth**

– In the Old Testament, God told them to offer animal sacrifices for sins yearly.
– God gave the laws for them to know why they die coming into His presence.
– They must come offering blood—an innocent two-year-old animal must pay for their sins.
– Even those who did not come out from the temple had to offer it.

**New Covenant Truth**

– Jesus is the forever Lamb.
– His blood is the river you are soaked in forever.
– Holiness isn’t about you keeping the laws.
– Living well is a reward, not for salvation.
– Living well is for you to fulfill your purpose in life, not to keep laws.
