What makes us sinner in christ different from unbeliever

Yes, Israel sinned like every other nation. But what made them unique was:

📌 God chose them for His covenant plan
Not because they were better, but because of His promise to Abraham.
📖 Deuteronomy 7:7–8

“The Lord did not set His love upon you… because you were more in number… but because the Lord loved you, and because He would keep the oath…”
God gave them His laws, prophets, and the promise of the Messiah.
📖 Romans 3:1–2

“What advantage then hath the Jew?… Much every way: chiefly, because… the oracles of God were committed unto them.”
But: They still sinned, and most rejected Jesus.

✝️ 2. So What’s the Difference Now That You’re in Christ?

You are now more than just forgiven — you are born again into God’s family. That’s the big difference.
✨ You’re not just a sinner — You’re now:
A child of God – John 1:12
Justified by faith – Romans 5:1
Made righteous in Christ – 2 Corinthians 5:21
Sealed with the Holy Spirit – Ephesians 1:13
Part of the body of Christ – 1 Corinthians 12:27
📖 Romans 9:6–8 explains:
“Not all who are of Israel are Israel… but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”
That means you, in Christ, are now spiritually part of God’s chosen family — even if you’re not from the Jewish bloodline.

🙌 3. So What Makes You Different From Unbelievers?

Without Christ (Unbeliever) In Christ (You)
Still in sin, under guilt Forgiven & justified
Spiritually dead Spiritually alive
Cannot understand spiritual things Holy Spirit teaches you
No relationship with God You are His child
Under judgment Under grace & eternal life
📖 1 John 5:12

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
That is the clear difference.

🔥 4. Will the Holy Spirit Leave You?

No — if you are in Christ, the Holy Spirit does not leave you.

📖 John 14:16
“And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.”
That means even when you fall, even when you feel unworthy, He remains with you.

❓But What About Sin?

Even when believers sin, the Holy Spirit convicts, not abandons.

📖 Ephesians 4:30

“Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
Grieving means He’s saddened by sin — but He doesn’t leave you.

You’re sealed.
Like a letter marked, stamped, and delivered.

✅ Final Truths To Hold:

Israel was chosen for God’s plan — but salvation is now for ALL who believe.
📖 Romans 10:12 – “There is no difference… the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.”
You are not under law, but under grace.
📖 Romans 6:14 – “Sin shall not have dominion over you…”
You are a child of God by faith — not by perfection.
📖 Galatians 3:26 – “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”
The Holy Spirit will never leave you — you are sealed forever.
📖 Ephesians 1:13–14 – “You were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise…”
💬 Declare This:

“I am not just forgiven — I am a new creation.
I am no longer a slave to fear or guilt.
I may stumble, but I am never abandoned.
The Holy Spirit lives in me — and will never leave me.
Jesus made me part of God’s family — forever. Amen.”
