🙏 Christ Our Savior & Daily Prayer 🙏
Christ came as a Savior from sin, not merely to advise you to stop sinning, but to actually save you from it, as confirmed in Matthew 1:21 (KJV).
In Romans 7:15-25 (KJV), Paul cried out to God in Christ and was saved from the very evils he didn’t want to do but found himself doing. Perhaps he was trapped by poverty, the demands of life, rents, bills, or relationships. He prayed to God, rather than running away from God, and continued to pray until God helped him.
This was Christ’s primary purpose, and it’s why He was often seen with or visiting sinners. Many were caught in “sinner traps” simply trying to provide for their families and live their lives.
🩸 The Blood of Jesus: Our Access to God
As our Creator, God came to give us hope. He provided a way for us to always come to the Father. Christ became the sacrifice, just as in the Old Testament, animal blood sacrifices were brought for cleansing before people could speak to God.
1 John 1:8 (KJV) says:
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
and we know the prayers of a sinner is abomination before God but through Christ as we come in his blood and name not our own righteousness but by his blood and name. We have the permission to speak to God, not by us but by what Christ did and his blood.2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV):
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
Hebrews 10:19 tells us to “come with boldness with his blood to his throne.”learn more at PRAYER 4 at devotion
⏰ The Importance of Daily Prayer
Psalm 55:17 says, “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 encourages us to “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Luke 18:1 shares a parable to emphasize “that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
Matthew 6:11, from the Lord’s Prayer, states, “Give us this day our daily bread.” This prayer for daily provision highlights that God expects us to come to Him daily for everything, just as He gave Israel manna daily from heaven (Exodus 16:4, 21, 35).
✝️ The Lord’s Prayer: Our Daily Communication with God
Jesus gave us grace and His blood as the sacrifice to always come to God. However, God expects His children to communicate with Him daily. You don’t have to speak all hour while busy.
That’s why Jesus gave us the Lord’s Prayer. This is His will: we can ask for forgiveness, as the Father knows we can’t be perfect before Him. We can ask for “daily bread,” which is provision for physical, spiritual, financial needs, food, and shelter. When we pray, “Lead us not into temptation,” we’re asking God to guide us away from situations where we might fall into sin and to protect us from spiritual attacks. When we say, “Kingdom come and thy will,” we’re asking for His presence to be around us, and for His will and plans for us in heaven to be done in our lives. We know God has good wills and plans for us, and much more. All of this is God’s will.
Matthew 6:9–13 (KJV) speaks on this.
1 John 5:14–15 (KJV) says that if we pray according to His will—the Lord’s Prayer and all He asks us to pray for—He will hear us.

✨ Closing Encouragement
We can also say David’s prayer: Psalm 23:6 (KJV): “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” This states that His mercy will be with him, and he will also enter eternity with God.
We should always come by the blood of Jesus and in His name, acknowledging God’s approval. Don’t doubt if God will hear us or if we are worthy; to do so would be saying Christ’s blood and death aren’t enough, and that your holiness is more needed than His blood and sacrifice to enter His presence and speak to Him.
1 John 1:8 says no one is without sin. We also know that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination before God. This is why we come with His blood—thanking Him and using His name as approval to ask what we desire. And He expects us daily in His presence.
