One God – The Invisible, Visible, and Spirit in One Being
✨ God Is One, But Expressed in Three Ways
If God were to explain Himself like a human, here’s how it would make sense:
A person has:
A mind (invisible part – where thoughts, plans, and decisions live)
A body (visible part – how we see and hear you)
A spirit or breath (the life inside – what moves you)
Even though those are three different parts, they are still one person. They don’t work separately. They are you.
That’s the best way to understand God as the Trinity:
Human God
Invisible mind God the Father – unseen, plans all things
Visible body Jesus the Son – the form of God we can see and hear
Breath/spirit Holy Spirit – the life of God inside believers
👑 God the Father – The Invisible Part
God the Father is like the mind:
You can’t see Him, but He’s the source of everything.
He’s the one who plans, decides, and knows all things.
📖 1 Timothy 6:16 – “No man has seen God [the Father] at any time…”
📖 John 4:24 – “God is Spirit…”
Just like you can’t see someone’s thoughts — you don’t see the Father directly.
✝️ Jesus – The Visible Part of God
Jesus is like the body — the visible expression of the invisible.
He is the part of God that walked on earth, that we could see, touch, and listen to.
He is called the Word (John 1:1), and the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).
📖 Hebrews 1:3 – “The Son is the express image of God’s person.”
That means:
Jesus is not another God.
He is the part of God we can see and understand.
Just like your body carries out what your mind wants — Jesus came to do the will of the Father.
🔥 The Holy Spirit – The Breath of God
The Holy Spirit is like your breath or spirit:
Invisible, but powerful.
Gives life, moves your body, and speaks through your voice.
📖 John 14:26 – “The Holy Spirit will teach you and remind you of everything I have said.”
📖 Romans 8:11 – “The Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.”
So the Holy Spirit:
Is God’s life inside us.
Helps us speak, understand, live holy, and have power.
🗣️ Why Did Jesus Pray If He Is God?
This is where the voice-from-heaven moment matters.
📖 Matthew 3:16-17 – When Jesus was baptized:
Jesus was in the water (the body).
The Holy Spirit came down like a dove (the breath).
A voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son…” (the mind).
All three were active — but still One God, just like a human who thinks, moves, and breathes at the same time.
Jesus prayed to the Father, not because they are separate gods, but because:
He came to earth as a human to show us how to talk to God.
He prayed to teach us obedience, humility, and relationship with the Father.
📖 Hebrews 5:7 – “In the days of His flesh, He offered prayers…”
He didn’t stop being God — He humbled Himself to teach us.
🔍 So When You Call Jesus, Are You Calling God?
Yes! 100%.
He is not “someone else” you go through to reach God.
He is God in the form we can see and speak to.
📖 John 14:9 – “Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father.”
📖 Colossians 2:9 – “In Him lives all the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form.”
📖 John 10:30 – “I and my Father are one.”
✨ Summary – God as Human
Part of a Human God
Thoughts & mind (unseen) Father – Invisible Planner & Source
Voice and body (visible) Jesus – Visible Form of God, Speaking & Acting
Breath and spirit (felt, not seen) Holy Spirit – Life, Power, and Presence
So just like you’re one person, God is One Being, showing Himself in three connected expressions.
🙏 How Should We Pray?
Just like Jesus taught:
📖 Matthew 6:9 – “Our Father in heaven…”
📖 John 14:13 – “Ask in My name…”
📖 Romans 8:26 – “The Spirit helps us pray…”
So we pray:
To the Father (the mind),
In the name of Jesus (the body and voice),
By the power of the Spirit (the breath that gives life).
But you can also call directly on Jesus, because He is God. The one we can see, understand, and speak with.
🔥 Final Word:
Jesus is the visible part of God.
The Father is the invisible source.
The Spirit is the life of God inside you.
Not three gods — but One God, revealed in three powerful, perfect ways.
“Just like a person can think, speak, and breathe at once — so does God act as Father, Son, and Spirit at once.”
So when you call Jesus, you’re not going through someone else.
You’re calling the living, loving, saving God Himself.
